Unreal_DM from ccMixter posted a song called "Blues Rag in Aminor" a couple days ago.  I couldn't resist adding lyrics.  I already had the main chorus and the concept for this song, and it just happened to fit Unreal_dm's ditty quite well.  The music is 100% Unreal_DM.  I just repeated part of it and added vocals.   Both songs are licenced CC-BY-NC.  Follow the title link to download the song for free!  Follow the links to Unreal_DM for more awesome music from him.

Derivitive work of "morning, glory" by Aunt Owwee.

Here's the first recording of a Kara Square album song that I'm really, really happy with... It's called "Start Each Day with Love."  It will be on the ukulele love song album.  I posted the vocal and ukulele stems on ccMixter.  There have already been a bunch of awesome remixes!!!  I'll post a mix of just the vox and uke below.  The album mix will be a bit different- it will include bass, tambourine, and light percussion.  Below that, I'll post some of the remixes.  All of music below is licensed CC-BY-NC.  This allows you to download, share, and remix, but you can't use anything commercially (without licensing through the artists).  Follow the title link to download the tracks.

Team Smile and Nod (electro folk pop duo of which I'm half) was invited to be the exclusive band of Fetus Rex Games!  Fetus Rex Games creates "games that challenge the entrenched idiotic cultural paradigms of our glorious global corpratocracy."  Ummmm... YEAH!  That's right up our alley!  You may recognize the art... it's by the crazy-talented artist who did our first two album covers, Jesse Smith.  He and his brother, Steven Smith, joined forces to start this gaming company.   Their first game will be called Illuminaut.  They've got mobile apps and a blog so you can track their progress as it's created.  We're really excited to provide the soundtrack and sound effects for Fetus Rex Games.  We'll keep you posted as it all comes together...
