COLLAB! Rise Up and Remember

Derivitive work of "Abstract Light" by Jens Karlsson
I created this piece to accompany a play that my uncle, Terrence Sherman, is working on. The lyrics are by his friend Dwight Stevers. The music is by Ivan Chew (I just cut it up to make it work for this). A huge thank you to Ivan for contributing such fantastic CC-BY instrumentals to the Commons. Thank you, also, to Dwight- working with your words was inspiring. And, of course, thank you to my dear uncle for inviting me to contribute to this project.

COLLAB! Call and Response Music Video Experiment #1 & #2
"The Dream" is a call and response music video experiment with Ephemeral Rift. I met Ephemeral Rift on ccMixter and we soon began following each other on YouTube. He's a super-talented, creative guy with a fantastic sense of humor. When he approached me to do a collaboration, I was immediately intrigued. We threw a few ideas around and decided to start with a simple call and response experiment. I started the project with a little ukulele video. Ephemeral Rift posted the 2nd video dwith a flute, banana, and a hat. Each music video will build off of the last and be a maximum of 20 seconds. Beyond that, there are no rules! After we have each responded 6 times, we'll post a compilation of the project (12 total responses). If you feel inspired, please join us! Upload your response on your YouTube channel, and then post it in the comment section by clicking "Create a video response." I'll be posting part 3 soon (today or tomorrow)...
